A smooth transition

The move into senior school is of paramount importance to our girls' onward journey. At Church High everything is done to ensure the continued academic success, personal development and happiness of our students at such a crucial time.

Firm foundations future

The hard work in the classroom reflects our school's ethos. The small class sizes the girls experience at our junior school is continued into the senior school, to allow for maximum development for all pupils.

Our exceptional Learning Resources Centre also promotes student-centred leaning through the use of the most up-to-date technology.

Care and support

Because our form tutors work alongside their girls, form groups become a mutually supportive team building on the strengths of individuals. The small groups mean tutors have the opportunity to regularly review both academic progress and well-being.

Outside activities

There are always opportunities for girls to explore and expand their wider interests, in areas such as music, sport and drama. There is also our own Church High Challenge, which leads into the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Girls thrive on the responsibility awarded to them and qualities of leadership, teamwork and communication are strengthened. The significant benefits of these activities can be seen clearly in their increased confidence and application in the classroom.
