Taking an individual paths

Though every child is an individual, the desire to find both happiness at school and the self belief to achieve is common in all children. In order to help all of our girls achieve these goals we ensure that all pupils are taught in well-ordered, stimulating learning environments. Our small class sizes provide the opportunity for children to work at their own individual levels, where staff have the time to ensure all needs are met.

A nurturing learning environment

This part of the school is set in its own attractive grounds with dedicated play areas for our infant and junior pupils. We offer outstanding facilities – two halls, a science laboratory, library and IT suite – as well as superb shared sporting facilities with our senior school.

Security is of paramount importance. The school grounds are accessed through a locked gate with video link to the school reception and key pads to restrict entry to the school buildings.

An all round education

All of our classrooms are light and spacious, populated by colourful displays to reflect the diverse nature of the lessons. The curriculum is broad and well-balanced and all girls will receive and benefit from specialist teaching.

All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and the girls have regular IT lessons in either the junior or senior school’s IT Suite. Ensuring that pupils acquire high standards of IT skills is a priority here for her further learning in the senior school.

As pupils move through the junior school they will have the opportunity to participate in an expanding range of extra-curricular activities, allowing development of any further interests.

We have now introduced Spanish in the junior school. We hope this will stimulate further interest in foreign languages, and will compliment the French taught here as early as nursery.
